It is amazing what love and acceptance will do for the conversion process. I am increasingly becoming aware that we must speak of ongoing (and as Benedict and Luther would say) daily conversion. This happens in a safe place where people feel they can look at their sin, confess their sin and be absolved while receiving support to move toward a new way of being. It is an ongoing ministry of love, compassion and service.
